2.54 Carat Diamonds

A diamond that is sized at 2.54 carats is usually roughly 8.94 mm in the width dimension. Carat size does not equate exactly to a certain width of diamond, because the diamond may be short and fat, or tall and lanky, meaning 2.54 carats of diamond will not always be synonymous with 8.94 mm of diamond.
