A typical round stone with a 2.03 carat weight has a width of 8.3 mm; bear in mind that this can change if the cut is shallow or deep. The ring shown in the picture is a US size 6; this is the same as an L 1/2 ring size in countries like Britain and Australia. Your fingers could be quite a bit thicker or thinner than the fingers shown in the picture, which are on the slim side - be sure to keep this in mind when you're looking at the picture. The ratio between the length of your ring finger and the width of your finger can play a pivotal role in the final appearance of a diamond on your hand.
